ELIGIBILITY
- Open to everyone
- Participants must be 18 years or older
- Teams of 2-4 members are allowed
PROJECT AND SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Theme: Develop an innovative solution that combines artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to address real-world challenges.
2. All projects must be submitted through the official DevPost page by the submission deadline.
3. Submissions must include:
- - Project title
- - Short description (150 words max)
- - Detailed description of the solution
- - Link to GitHub repository with source code
- - Presentation slides (10 slides max)
4. For the preliminary round:
- - Teams will present their projects in a science fair style setup
- - Be prepared to demonstrate your project and answer questions from judges
5. For the final round:
- - Selected teams will give a 5-minute presentation
- - Prepare a concise, engaging presentation that covers your project's key aspects
6. All submitted projects must be original work
- - Participants retain full ownership of their intellectual property
- - By submitting, participants grant Merritt Colleges the right to showcase projects for promotional purposes
7. Use of open-source libraries and APIs is encouraged
- - Pre-existing code must be properly attributed
- - External datasets must be publicly available and cited

Preliminary Round:
- - Judges will evaluate projects in a science fair style setting
- - Top teams will be selected to advance to the final round
Final Round:
- - Selected teams will deliver a 5-minute presentation
- - Judges will score based on the above criteria
- - Winners will be determined by the highest overall scores
The judges' decisions are final. In case of any disputes, the organizing committee's decision will be binding.
